BI Developer

IntaPeople is working with a leading global specialist in the aviation industry who is seeking a BI Developer to join their team.

As the successful BI Developer, you will have proven experience within a BI developer role, the ability to liaise with business stakeholders and systems developers whilst using your own developed project management skills.

The successful BI Developer must have a real desire to learn about the business and its data needs.You will be involved in the d evelopment and delivery of key digital projects throughout the business, working with end users to understand processes anddata requirements.Develop, support, and manage existing MS SQL data warehouse, develop, support new and existing data models from data warehouse to allow self-service reporting.Support the business information team in the development of PowerBI Dashboarding,assist with general enquiries with specialist ERP system.
- Excellent commercial understanding of data warehousing using proven methodologies
- Strong understanding of ETL and automation using Integration services
- Excellent knowledge of relational databases especially ERP systems
- Developing complex queries with multiple table joins, grouping and aggregations
- Excellent understanding of SQL (Microsoft and Oracle)
- High level of competence across the Microsoft BI Stack. SSIS / SSAS / SSRS
- Experience using specialist ERP System will be advantageous but not essential
- Previous experience using SAP
- Microsoft PowerApps and Microsoft Flow
- Agile-based working principals
- Experience in using Jira service desk
- Integrating systems on different platforms
