Techniche Global are supporting an Engineering Technology company to appoint a part time Quality Assurance Manager. This is a hybrid role, supporting the delivery of the Quality and Environmental Management Systems (QMS & EMS), to ensure a consistent approachtowards all quality change and business compliance.
The company are a leader in the field of Electronics, Engineering Technology and Cloud Computing solutions to the Mobility and Law Enforcement Market.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 18 per week, (2.5 days flexible)
Type: Hybrid - office is located in Winchester

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Main responsibilities
- Managing the maintenance of BSI standards. ISO9001, ISO14001 and others as appropriate.
- Assist with the development and implementation of appropriate management systems, procedures and controls for the service to ensure robust management information and effective risk management.
- Continually evolve best working practices and procedures to deliver ISO9001 and ISO14001 excellence and certification.
- Objectively assess the effectiveness of the company's business processes through auditing.
- Participate in senior management reviews, directly influencing the business plan and key performance indicators.
- Co-ordinate and support all QA and QC activities within the company
- Manage all customer quality improvement initiatives.
- Lead supplier quality assessments and improvement initiatives.
- Co-ordinate environmental initiatives.
- Champion root cause analysis and preventative actions.
- Actively support New Product Development activities.
Qualifications:

- Auditor qualifications or experience in auditing diverse activities with a knowledge of ISO Standards (primarily 9001 and 14001).
- Quality management experience: 4 years (preferred)
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Comprehensive understanding of best practice in Quality Management Systems with a sound overview of the other areas.
- Excellent communication skills with evidence of an ability to network, influence and persuade at all levels.
- You will excel at delivering the highest levels of customer service, best working practices, and quality of products to clients within highly regulated industries.
- The role holder will be required to provide a suitable vehicle and hold a full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Experience in a similar, senior Quality position within electronic or manufacturing environments.
- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
- Quality assurance: 3 years (preferred)
