Digital Print Manager

**Digital Print Manager, Watford, £36-37k**
Days based Monday to Friday + Rotating Weekend Shift (with allowance)
Reporting to the Production Director, you will take on overall responsibility for the Digital Print Department to include the safety and wellbeing of all staff by ensuring Company H&S Policy is upheld and followed.
**Main Overview**:
*Liaise with Project and Department Managers to ensure work is logged.
*Schedule jobs for both shifts, allowing maximum efficiency
*Ensure the Department runs smoothly and efficiently
*Identify ways to improve service and reduce costs
*Implementation and maintain the Quality Control System procedures.
*Identify technical problems and provide cost effective solutions in all areas of production.
**Production & Maintenance**:
*Ensure machinery/equipment is serviced and maintenance is carried as per guidelines and company policies.
*Make sure everyone is fully trained
*Co-ordinate and manage any technically difficult work or campaigns
*Quality Control, ensure all work is completed to a high standard
*Run machines when required
**Administration**:
*Liaise with the Production Director, Financial, Human Resources and other Departmental Teams regarding the management of all staff, machinery, commercial contracts, material stock and suppliers.
*Maintain accurate records (MIS-data collection or similar)
*Produce Management Reports
*Ensure staff maintain accurate records of all material wastage and job spoilage to allow future development with QCS and Continual Improvement programmes.
*Assist with the recruitment, employment, induction, training, disciplining and reduction of staff as necessary.
*Ensure Health & Safety Risk Assessments are carried out
