**Senior Electrical Design Engineer**
**Edinburgh**
**£40,000 - £50,000 (doe) + Excellent Training + Internal Progression + Company Pension + Private Healthcare**

As Senior Electrical Design Engineer you will attend site surveys and client meetings, alongside producing detailed designs, drawings and schematics using AutoCAD software.
**The role**:

- Supporting the company's management team in producing electrical design solutions
- Producing Electrical Design drawings, calculations, reports, specifications and schedules using Amtech, Hevacomp, IES, Relux and Dialux software
- Managing and overseeing the training and development of trainee engineers
- Conduct reviews and quality checks to ensure that designs are completed to expected quality
- Contribute to Building Regulations Part F/ Part L / Section 6 compliance modelling

**The Person**:

- Previous experience in a Building Services consultancy environment
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (HND in Electrical Engineering)
- Chartered Engineer or currently studying towards Chartership
- Working knowledge of Amtech single cable and ProDesign software as well as Hevacomp, IES, Relux or Dialux
- Previous management experience in a similar background
- Valid UK Driving licence and willing to travel to sites across Scotland and UK
