Specific Tasks are to conduct site set up and abatement of asbestos containing materials according to the method statement and scope of works & to assist the Contract Manager to complete the works on time and to budget as well as safely, according to all regulatory requirements and with all relevant documentation accurately completed. Supervisors will normally work on larger contracts.

The Supervisor will monitor all personnel on site to ensure that the standards set are being achieved for all site staff.

Supervisors are able to abate materials such as Decorative Textured coating, Asbestos Cement, ACM floor tiles and Asbestos Insulation Board & Asbestos lagging (list not exhaustible) as per their training. Supervisor will be able to make full use of all safe removal techniques, fibre suppression techniques (Killaspray/Greco/ Injection Equipment), and Shadow Vacuuming techniques. Supervisor will be able to assist in bag runs & bagging of material with the stages of the bag lock.

**Main Duties will include**:

- Ensuring works are carried out in line with the Risk and Method statement.
- To undertake duties as reasonably requested by the Contracts Manager.

**Person specification**:

- Previous experience within the asbestos removal industry is essential.
- Physically fit
- Must hold a full clean driving licence
- Must have a strong work ethic
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team whilst remaining calm and professional under pressure
- Willing to work and stay away from home when required
- Willing to work evenings, weekends and public holidays when required
- Must work to and follow company standard procedures

**Salary**: £135.00 per day
