Head Housekeeper

Our client, with a beautiful, large, fully staffed family property in Virginia Water is looking for an experienced Live-out Head Housekeeper to join a lovely team.

We are looking for someone with excellent housekeeping, laundry, wardrobe and some service experience. Plus experience of taking care of UHNW individuals in private households or on-board yachts.
The role is mainly based in Virginia Water, but occasional days will be spent assisting in Central London if the family are in residence there - you ultimately need to be a flexible person and able to 'wear many hats' when needed.

**Responsibilities**:

- Daily cleaning & deep cleaning to ensure the residence is clean and organised daily
- Running errands such as dry cleaning and shopping
- Ensuring the house and garden lounge areas are guest ready at all times
- Putting away deliveries and assisting with managing fresh and dry food stock
- Working closely alongside a team of Housekeepers, Senior Housekeeper, House Manager and Service team
- Covering for the Butlers on days off / holidays if needed
- Taking care of fresh flowers and houseplants
- Helping the service team with informal food/drink service, setting up for meals
- Wardrobe management
- Assisting in the kitchen and washing up after mealtimes
- Assisting at occasional events and parties
- Wardrobe management
- Laundry of fine linens and clothing
- Pet care
- Admin duties such as recording laundry, new preferences, maintenance issues, writing hand over notes, assisting with writing procedures, housekeeping stock control and ordering
- Yachting/Chalet/similar Household experience desired
- Driver (house car available to use on errands)
- Flexible and happy to multitask
- Flexibility to help at their other residence if needed in London

**Package**

**Salary**: £50,000 - £55,000 GPA
**Start Date**:ASAP
**Contact**: Short term until October (due to renovations) however, there is a possibility you can be offered another position at a different location
**Holiday**: 20 days plus bank holidays in lieu if worked
**Days**: Tuesday - Saturday & Sunday-Thursday
**Hours**: 9 hours a day (some flexibility may be required with good notice)
