**Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine maintenance on heavy goods vehicles, including oil changes and tyre rotations.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, including engine, transmission, and electrical problems.
- Conduct inspections and routine checks to identify any potential issues or safety concerns.
- Replace or repair faulty parts and components to maintain the performance and functionality of the vehicles.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance work conducted.

**Requirements**:

- Driving Licence
- Proven knowledge of HGV mechanics and ability to diagnose and repair issues.
- Understanding of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

**Desired but not essential**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HGV Mechanic.
- Class 2 HGV License
- ADR in Tanks and Class 3
- Certification in HGV mechanics.
