Funeral Arranger

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and organized Funeral Arranger to join our team at Alexander Burn Funeral Directors. The Funeral Arranger will be responsible for organising funeral services, guiding families through the funeral planning process, and ensuring all aspects of the funeral service run smoothly.

**Responsibilities**:

- Meet with families to discuss and arrange funeral services
- Prepare and file all necessary legal documents
- Assist families with obituary notices and floral arrangements
- Provide grief support and resources to bereaved families

**Skills**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail
- Empathetic and compassionate demeanour
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism
- Knowledge of funeral service regulations and procedures
- Proficient in time management and multitasking
- Computer literate and confident using Microsoft packages
- A UK driving licence

Pay: From £24,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
