**Technical Sales Manager (12 month contract)**

**£40,000 annum + bonus + PMI**

**The Role**

This is a key role working closely with the project teams and sales and marketing teams to understand cross selling opportunities to existing customers as well as identifying new business opportunities within growing markets. Specifically this role withinclude:

- Simultaneously managing multiple projects of varying values and complexity, both domestically and outside of the UK, ensuring monthly, quarterly and annual targets are met.
- Develop in depth technical knowledge of the product and become a confident technical sales lead.
- Travel to clients site (mainly UK) to develop projects from inception through to delivery.
- Take complete ownership for the commercial success of a project.
- Manage and challenge internal project teams of all levels of seniority throughout the design and proposal development phase to ensure the best possible outcome for the customer and the business.
- Manage the day to day progress of each project through close collaboration with internal departments, whilst acting as the key point of contact for the customer.
- Review / manage resources to ensure client and company deadlines are met.
- Liaise with and manage key supply chain accounts to ensure optimum service levels.
- Constantly review market conditions and sector trends in order to spot opportunities for growth / diversification.

**Essential Experience**:

- Demonstrable project management experience in a high-growth, fast-paced organisation.
- Experience of proposal writing and completion of tender documents.
- Commercially-minded and experience of working within commercial environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to influence across functions and levels.
- Ability to react quickly to changing situations and prioritise workload accordingly.
- Strong problem-solving, planning and organisational skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building.
- Basic contract negotiation skills.

**Desirable Experience**:

- Exposure to, or understanding of the modular construction sector
- Exposure to high value projects typically ranging in value between £100,000 to £3,000,000 +
