CNC Machine Operators

Due to continued growth Had-Fab Ltd are recruiting for Machine Operators to work in our busy Plate Dept. You will be responsible for operating production machines in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company polices and procedures.

Key machines include - Guillotine, Ficep Plate Drill, Ficep Plate Punch, Plasma. Full training will be given.

Roles and Responsibilities;
- Cutting material on a guillotine correct to the drawings
- Punching plates from nc software on CNC machines
- Drilling plates from nc software on CNC machines
- Removing paint
- Ensuring mark item count is accurate to the drawing quantity
- Checking material from drawings
- Work flexibly across a variety of machines as part of a team
- Perform safety checks on each machine prior to and during use

Skills and Experience required;
- Previous CNC Machining experience essential.
- Must be reliable with the flexibility to work dayshift and nightshift.
- Must be able to read engineering drawings.
- Structural steelwork experience would be advantageous.
- Programming experience preferred.

Working Week: Mon - Thurs 7:00am to 17:15pm. Overtime when available.

Holidays: 28 days. (Holiday pay is calculated at 4 days basic rate and 24 days basic rate x 1.33).
