**Alcohol and Drugs Partnership (ADP) Coordinator**
**Band 7 £42,816 - £49,160 including Distant Islands Allowance pro rata per annum**
**Part time 230 hours per week**
**Fixed Term or Secondment for 9 months**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to lead in the development and delivery of strategic aspects of Orkney’s Alcohol and Drugs Partnership (ADP) work to ensure local and national priorities and outcomes are met and that services meet the needs of the people of the Orkney.

The individual will also lead the ADP support team ensuring the provision of full and pro-active support to the Chair and members of Orkney Alcohol and Drug Partnership. The individual will take the lead in developing key pieces of work for Orkney ADP including a Needs Assessment, local commissioning of services and progressing the Orkney ADP Strategy and Delivery Plan.

Applicants are expected to be knowledgeable about current national and local trends in alcohol and drugs from a professional development and management viewpoint.

Additionally, applicants should have experience in managing projects (including both people and financial management) within a multiagency setting with effective communication and negotiation skills.
