**Role Purpose**

A role has become available in the UK Consortiums and Partnerships Team within Spirit’s Research and Development organisation. The role will be based at the Aerospace Innovation Centre (AIC) located at our Prestwick site in Scotland but will support C&P activities at the Prestwick and Belfast sites.

**Salary: From £43,973**

This opportunity, based at our **Prestwick** site offers:

**Responsibilities**:
The role will cover in the main, but not exclusively, elements of the following:

- Consortiums: Working with Catapults and Academic Institutions. Technical and Steering Boards, running joint and Spirit only projects.
- Partnerships: Onboarding and maintaining Partnerships at the AIC with industrial partners. Quarterly meetings, road-mapping for technology and engagement.
- Road-Mapping: Technical road-mapping for the UK, liaising with the US.
- AIC: Liaising with AIC management team on AIC reporting and new business development.
- Portfolio Management: Management of full project portfolio for UK and reporting into US

All of these elements will require close teamwork with the R&D and wider teams at Prestwick, Belfast, the US and other Spirit sites around the globe.

Qualifications:
**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**
- Self starter & highly driven.
- Experience in working individually and in teams to deliver a project.
- Knowledge and understanding of Company Processes and Procedures, standards relating to aerospace engineering, as well as health & safety and environment, would be beneficial.
- Project management, planning and organising skills.
- Knowledge of aerospace methods and toolsets.
- Strong communication and team working skills.
- Fluent in oral and written English.
