CORE DUTIES Excellent communication skills, as you will need to speak to patients on a daily basis and have excellent telephone communication skills, you will also need to communicate with other professionals as we work within a multi-disciplinary team. Accurately record on Patient Centre/PAS all related data. Update and revision of information. Responsible for dealing with patient enquiries including using initiative to appropriately handle sensitive issues, ensuring that confidentiality is maintained at all times.

Assist with maintenance of office stationery, including photocopying and filing as required and restocking the wards documents and weekly/ daily supplies Excellent IT skills as part of this role as you will be expected to transfer and discharge patients on the computer system and forward information on to different areas within the trust. Liaise with other professionals regarding clients and their information within the trust, as well as GP clinics and other departments. The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment and promote safeguarding by implementing the Trusts policies and procedures, acting promptly on concerns, communicating effectively and sharing information appropriately. If successful this vacancy will require an enhanced DBS check at a cost of £43.50.

This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary. In addition to this it will be a condition of your employment that you will join the DBS update service and pay the annual subscription fee of £13.
