This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to work for an industry leader, providing specialist furniture subcontracts in Healthcare, Education, Student Accommodation and Laboratory sectors.

Deanestor are looking for an experienced CNC Stone operator to join a growing team. You must have the ability to work with great attention and accuracy to detail, be responsible and comply with all safety guidelines.

We operate within a dynamic and fast paced environment and therefore we’re looking for a friendly, approachable individual who is flexible and willing to learn and grow with the company.

The objective is to ensure that production processes deliver products of the highest quality and in a timely profitable manner.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks
- Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading manufacturing drawings etc.
- Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function
- Prepare and load raw materials onto the machines
- Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications
- Set machines to complete full cycles to manufacture large number of components
- Monitor the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce the required outcome
- Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly
- Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality

**Requirements**:

- Good attention to detail
- Good housekeeping & general maintenance of machine
- Experience with stone/wood/engineering an advantage but not essential
- Experience with CAD or similar software also advantageous
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Positive ‘Can Do’ attitude
- Conscientious
- Good verbal communicator
- Team Player
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control principles

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.00-£14.00 per hour
