Westwood Recruitment are currently seeking a skilled and certified Banksman with valid tickets/certifications and PTS certification to contribute to our project in the heart of Manchester working nights shifts for approx. 15 nights (possibly more) starting Sunday night (14th April 2024)

**Benefits**:

- Competitive hourly rate of £16.50, paid for 8 hours per shift
- Work night shifts from midnight until approximately 4:30 AM, with payment for 8 hours per shift - **Sunday nights / Monday Morning shift paid at time + 1/2**:

**Responsibilities**:

- Directing the movement of vehicles and machinery on the construction site during night shifts
- Ensuring all vehicles and machinery operate safely and comply with site regulations
- Communicating effectively with drivers and equipment operators via hand signals or radios
- Assisting in the coordination of vehicle and equipment movements to optimize productivity
- Monitoring the surrounding area for potential hazards and taking appropriate action to mitigate risks
- Adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times
- Collaborating with the site supervisor and other team members to maintain a safe working environment
- Performing any additional duties as assigned by the site management team

**Requirements**:

- Valid Banksman certification
- Valid tickets/certifications relevant to the role (e.g., CSCS card, CPCS card)
- PTS certification (Personal Track Safety)
- Previous experience working as a Banksman on construction sites
- Strong communication skills and the ability to give clear and concise instructions
- Excellent situational awareness and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 15 days

Pay: £16.50 per hour
