**Job Description**:
**Roles & responsibilities**:

- Monitor and contribute to the reduction in Abcam’s quality complaint rate.
- Lead the product quality monthly meetings with OEM suppliers to align Abcam’s quality expectations with our suppliers.
- Work with the Procurement team to escalate supplier or product issues; provide quality support for on-boarding new OEM suppliers and take part in supplier relationship meetings.
- Use Tableau software and internal customer complaints software to conduct analysis of both product and supplier quality issues.
- Support the supplier development project in building collaborative relationships with OEM suppliers and mutually beneficial business and revenue goals.
- Support the China Product Quality team projects to reach the region specific KPIs.
- Help to resolve product quality complaints using your extensive scientific background and knowledge, and by collaborating with the teams in R&D and the Research Areas team.
- Support customer facing teams to determine root cause of product quality issues.
- Continually think of, suggest, and help implement process improvements.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of an M.Sc. in a life sciences field and experience working in this area.
- Problem-solving ability.
- Collaborative and strong communication skills.
- A team player, able to work cross-functionally.
- Ability to prioritise and process large amounts of data in a logical and efficient manner.
- Experience using Excel and other MS office tools.
