Here at **Parker Steel**we have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated **Telesales Person** to join our busy and expanding ParkerTools Division at our **Canterbury Offices. **You will be working on a **full time, permanent basis, 42.5 hours per week Monday to Friday** and in return, you will receive a **competitive salary of £24,000 - £30,000 per annum dependent on skills and experience**

**The Role**

As the Telesales person you will be generating new business and building strong working relationships with key accounts in your sales area.

Your focus will be on core product areas including fixings and fasteners, hand railing systems and workshop consumables (abrasives, tooling), supplying customer quotations based off material schedules and drawings.
- **Roles and Responsibilities will include**:_
- Responsible for sales in excess of £500,000 per year, handling both inbound and outbound sales calls in a busy telesales environment.

**The Person**
- Experience in a sales environment within the construction industry would be beneficial but full training will be given.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A positive attitude with a desire / drive and determination to hit individual and team targets
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Excellent MS Office skills
