_**School Administrator (With DBS) **_required for our client based in Stratford, East London. Please note that applicants must have school administration experience to be considered for this role.
- **£21,000 - £24,000 per annum (DOE)**_
**THE ROLE**:
Job requirements - front office, back office, HR, Admissions, ParentPay etc - Front office, back office, calling parents, doing registers, updating training matrix, doing purchase orders, arranging login details for temporary staff, updating staff attendance trackers, reports for attendance meetings from Scholarpack and general admin duties.
Ensuring the smooth running of the administration office including relevant equipment.
To stand in for the Receptionist when required. Maintain good communication and working relationships with all stakeholders.
Model excellent professional relationships with pupils, parents and other professionals in the school. Model exemplary customer service to all external stakeholders and visitors.
Providing administrative and secretarial support. Providing a weekly attendance record of staff each week to HR.
Managing the office facilities and resources; re-ordering when required. Ensuring that daily/weekly/monthly Health & Safety Checks are carried out in partnership with the school Caretaker.
Keeping up-to-date records for all pupils and ensuring that the Admissions Register is up to date at all times.
Arranging all maintenance work, including Alarm/Fire services under the guidance of the School Business Manager (SBM).
Formatting/writing letters as appropriate. Ensuring that administration procedures set out in the Attendance Toolkit are followed at all times.
Assisting the SBM with the drafting of reports / gathering information or statistics. Liaising with the cleaners on daily tasks and ensuring that any issues are dealt with in a timely manner.
Quality checking identification of all temporary staff and flagging any concerns with HR and the SBM. Maintaining regular reports to HR, including staff audit sheets.
Finance Processing all purchase orders in a timely manner in line with financial procedures. Processing all invoices in line with financial procedures.
Manage the petty cash including reconciling the accounts. Ensuring that all staff expense claims are
processed in a timely manner in line with school policy.
Additional Assist with the preparation of agendas, reports etc for meetings, and minute meetings of all annual reviews.
Ensuring that the Annual Review diary is up to date and that annual reviews are arranged in a timely manner to include communicating with Local Authorities and parents/carers regarding the arrangement of the Annual Review.
Ensuring that all relevant school staff are notified regarding the date of the annual review. Formatting and sending out termly school reports. Organising and maintaining filing systems.
**Knowledge and Experience**
Experience working within a school environment.
Substantial administrative experience.
Skills and abilities Exemplary customer service skills.
Skilled in minute taking. Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Flexibility in thinking and practice.
Highly organised with very good time management skills to work to deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
