We are currently looking for a **Distribution Supervisor** on a Fixed-Term basis to join our friendly team at our Snodland office, Kent.

**Role Responsibility**:
This is a varied, complex and rewarding position that requires strong leadership skills, commercial acumen, flexibility and dedication for service excellence. Your role and responsibilities:

- Manage the day to day operations of the Distribution team
- Ensuring optimum customer service
- Implementing training and skills development for the distribution team
- Liaison with key customers and forward programme management
- Key link in the relationship between our contract haulage fleet and the distribution team
- Workforce planning to maintain defined levels of customer service
- Some administrative tasks

Skills/Knowledge:

- Customer Interface skills - dealing with stakeholders of varying seniority levels
- Experience of working against KPI’s and strict deadlines
- Experience within a similar supervisory role
- Computer literate
- Good administrative and organisational skills
- Good accuracy skills
- Effective communication skills both oral and written
- Ability to work under pressure
- Team player
- Ability to identify and address problems by developing logical solutions
