The Finance Assistant provides support with company spending, overseeing all purchases made are paid for in a timely manner and providing administrative support to the Finance Team.

This role is based in the Milton Keynes office and will need to attend the office everyday.

**Key Accountabilities**:
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Code and check invoices
- Match goods received notes and purchase orders
- Post all invoices onto SAGE
- Undertake bi-monthly BACS runs
- Check and reconcile supplier statements
- Monthly payment runs
- Posting of month end journals including petty cash, pre-payments and accruals, bank reconciliations
- First line of contact for purchase ledger queries
- Undertake all purchasing for the company including but not limited to hardware, software, stationary, kitchen supplies etc
- Check purchase orders, create purchase orders and continue to monitor pricing levels on all purchase orders ensuring best prices are always sought.
- Build relationships with suppliers
- Process monthly staff expenses, cash expenses and Company credit card expenses
- Answering the telephone and monitoring the generic finance inbox dealing with queries from staff and external suppliers
- Work tight to deadlines for month end closure and support Accounts team where necessary
- Involvement in Sales Ledger including raising invoices, chasing debt, sending out supplier statements
