Grade 3 (lower) Point 20-23: £27,490 - £30,168 FTE (£16,716.89- £18,345.41 per annum, pro rata)

At Family Action we transform lives by providing practical, emotional and financial support to those who are experiencing poverty, disadvantage and social isolation. We have been building stronger families since 1869 and today we work with more than 60,000 families in over 150 community-based services, as well as supporting thousands more through national programmes and grants.

The Empowering Parents Empowering Communities (EPEC) project is an exciting, community-based programme, training staff and parent volunteers to deliver evidence based parenting programmes in communities across Manchester to parents of children 0-4 yrs.

This role gives you the opportunity to coordinate, oversee and support the implementation EPEC Parenting Programme delivered by Parent Volunteers across Manchester. You will need to have a CAN- DO attitude and enthusiasm to support parents and supervisors to feel empowered to deliver the programme in the community.

Your skills

We welcome applicants who:

- Have experience of working with families of under 5’s
- Knowledge of evidence based parenting programmes.
- Understanding of meeting the needs of the community
- The skills to organise and coordinate the Parenting Programme.
- Commitment to developing the EPEC model across Manchester.
