Major Logistics are currently recruiting for a Freight Forwarder / European Freight Operator to join a busy transport team based in Featherstone.

Hours of work:

- Monday to Friday
- 08:00 - 17:00

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

- Working within a team to complete all duties
- Providing quotes for loads to and from Europe
- General administration duties, such as imputing jobs onto their system
- Arranging customs clearance in both origin and destination counties
- Planning groupage trailers to and from Europe, preparing accurate load lists
- Co-ordinate with the traffic department to arrange collections within the UK
- Communicate with sub contractors, drivers, customers and oversea agents
- Plus other general Freight Forwarding duties

Skills & Experience:

- Experience in customs requirements is beneficial but not essential
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills

**Salary**:

- £25,000 to £35,000 depending on experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
