**Job Title**:Plant Maintenance Plumber

**Location**:Barrow-In-Furnace - On Site

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Carrying out Maintenance and Repairs to industrial pipework systems. (Such as Propane, Oxygen, Argon, Natural Gas, Bulk Water)
- Carrying out Reactive and Planned maintenance on Domestic Systems. (Heating Systems, Hot & Cold Water Supplies, Effluent)
- Carrying out Maintenance in line with BAE Processes and ACOP L8 (Legionella)
- Maintenance and Repair of Industrial Heating Appliances (Gas Fired AHUs, Overhead Radiant Heaters etc.)
- Testing of Fire Protection Sprinkler Systems.
- Installation of pipework (various systems)
- Liaising with Internal and External Stakeholders as well as cross functional customers

**Your skills and experiences**:
Essential:

- Time served Plumber with Qualifications (City and Guilds or NVQ3)
- Experience in an Commercial/industrial Environment
- Water Regulations

Desirable:

- Commercial Gas Qualifications
- Legionella Awareness

**The Plant Maintenance Plumbing team**:
As part of the Plant Maintenance Plumbing team, you will be expected to carry out an array of Reactive and planned maintenance tasks across the Barrow Site. This is a critical task in the broad scheme, to keep the progression of projects on track and minimise down time. You will interact and gain exposure regularly with high level Stakeholders both internally and Externally, and will see opportunities for progression and training while performing this role.
