PANEL WIRER / TESTER - £13.50 PER HOUR

**Our Client**

A global forward thinking company based in the heart of Somerset. Racking systems are a speciality and they offer both commercial and bespoke models.

**The Role**
- Inspect and test electrical panels used to control machinery, following the procedures and wiring schematics, and using safe electrical testing panel and instruments.
- Wiring and assembly of electrical control panels
- Electrical assembly
- Soldering

**What we need from you**
- Experience in testing electrical control panels used to control machinery based on PLC and Touchscreen (Omron).
- Understanding of control system functionality & components.
- Reading and interpreting Schematic Drawings accordingly,
- Ability to quality check control panel assembly and wiring using layout and wiring schematics diagrams.
- Competant in making off cables & looms, crimping, routing and cable terminating.
- Use electrical instruments such as a multimeter and electrical hand tools, ie. drill machines, jig saw.

**Additional Skills**

Ability to work under pressure at times

Ability to work well with others

Excellent attention to detail

Strong written communication skills.

Office Package user

Working knowledge of CX Omron software
