We're looking for a someone to join a busy local, family run supply company as a Business Administration apprentice. The company has undergone a stage of extreme growth and the apprentice will play a part in supporting that continued growth and be given the chance to progress within the company.
The successful applicant will be involved in assisting with general administration, finance and interaction with traders and production team. The role is perfect for someone looking to work in a dynamic and high growth company, gain a broad understanding of all business functions whilst becoming an expert in logistics and planning.
The apprentice will undertake a Business Administration apprenticeship working towards a Level 3 qualification and their varied daily role will include:
- Assist in organisation of business critical documents and items.
- Update sales and purchase order information.
- Work with Finance & Manufacturing teams to continuously improve administration processes.
- Cleansing datasets to assist company wide processes.
- Assist shipping manager in executing import, export and world trade programme.
- General book keeping, paying and processing invoices and dealing with the accountants.
- Instructing builders, carpet fitters, plumbers, electricians etc when needed.
- Designing ways to make the company more efficient and directions for it to go in.
- New property investment viewings.
- Invoicing.
- Writing up quotes.
- Store room and stock takes.
- General book keeping, liaising with the accountants and dealing with the accounts.
- General administration.

**Salary**: From £224.00 per week
