**Key Objectives & Responsibilities**:
**The Role**:

- Managing and leading vehicle verification for homologation requirements within vehicle development team, you will be working with internal stakeholders to identify future product regulations, guiding and impacting those regulations by interactions with R&Dstakeholders and communicating the deliverables internally.
- Work across a broad range of homologation / certification requirements for a global vehicle, ranging from EU/ UN/ China/ NAS and RoW markets.
- Give interpretation of requirements if needed to assist project and development engineers meet requirements.
- Plan testing for internal pre-certification testing, self-certification testing and assisting certification teams with final sign off / witness testing.
- Coordinate technical documentation/ test reports, organise and support documentation related to regulatory certification, and self-certification.
- Report back to the business on the status and progression of the vehicle's homologation status.
- Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested from time to time.
- Travel within the UK and Worldwide maybe be required.

**Requirements**:

- You will have a bachelor's degree and experience within a certification/ homologation background.
- Demonstrable experience in homologation in the automotive sector in global markers. Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements in the jurisdictions of interest (e.g EU/ UN-ECE, FMVSS, EPA, CARB, GT/B)
- Whole vehicle type approval or safety related homologation experienced desired.
- Be familiar with OEM product development systems
- Flexible, enthusiastic individual who is self-motivated, able to work well under own initiative and remain focused under pressure.
- Excellent organising and planning skills
- Demonstrable communication skills (written, verbal and aural), good collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively across teams within the organisation.
- Desirable to have experience in HV systems.
- Full driving licence is essential
- No visa or other restrictions for working in the UK or travelling in the European Union
