Solely HR have been invited to support a new client looking to recruit a qualified HR Advisor on a 9 month interim basis to cover maternity leave. The business is a very established and progressive Manufacturing operation in the Bridgewater area. The role is full time with the requirement for the HR Advisor to work onsite.

**Responsibilities**:
1) Employee Relations:

- Serve as a primary point of contact for employees and Managers regarding HR-related matters.
- Address and resolve employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances in a fair and consistent manner.
- Promote a positive work culture by fostering open communication and teamwork.

2. Recruitment and Onboarding:

- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.

3. Performance Management:

- Support the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
- Provide guidance to managers on addressing performance issues and implementing improvement plans.

4. Training and Development:

- Identify training needs and coordinate development programs to enhance employee skills.
- Collaborate with department heads to create and implement training initiatives aligned with organizational goals.

5. Policy Development and Compliance:

- Stay informed about relevant UK employment laws and regulations in the manufacturing industry.
- Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency.

6. Health and Safety:

- Work closely with the health and safety team to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures.

7. Data Management:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, including employee files, attendance, and other relevant documentation.
- Generate reports and analytics to support HR decision-making.

8. Employee Engagement:

- Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, morale, and retention.
- Organize events and activities that promote a positive workplace culture.

**Qualifications**:

- CIPD Level 5 preferred or equivalent qualification in related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Advisor, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of UK employment law and regulations relevant to the manufacturing sector.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
