Hi, my name is Logan, and I am 11 years old. I have severe learning difficulties and Autism which unfortunately impacts my ability to speak but don’t worry I make enough noise J

I live at home with my mum, older brothers, and our cockapoo. I’m looking for someone to build a relationship with who can make me smile and giggle whilst we go out on adventures away from my family home.

Whilst you are caring for me, I’d really like to have support in accessing planned activities, clubs, and social gatherings. Some other things I like to do is go to the park, adventure trails and just generally getting out and about. I especially love a day out on the beach but warned there will probably be a lot of sand in your car afterwards

Because I am non-verbal, I can use PECS (Picture exchange communication system), but I prefer to use objects of reference such as a sport drinking bottle if I am thirsty. If I am hungry, I will search in my bag for my lunch box which my mum will provide.

Personal care will be required, I use an incontinence product as I am not able to use a toilet.

Some experience is preferred and would be an advantage but not essential.

Driver preferred with access to their own vehicle.

Full training will be provided.

A DBS will be required and paid for by the employer.

Hourly pay rate is £11.00 per hour.

Disability Positive are not the employer, supporting the individual only.
