Quarriers Supported Youth Housing Project (QSYHP) supports young people (Aged 16-25 years old) to live independently in their own tenancies within the north west area of Glasgow. QSYHP is registered with the Care Inspectorate as a Housing Support Service. Young people are referred to the project from a range of different settings, including supported accommodation, staying with family or friends on a non-permanent basis, or who have been looked after by a local authority.

We are looking for a Relief Transition Mentor to provide a comprehensive support service for homeless young people aged 16-25 years using a dispersed tenancy model / service provision. Direct support is available Monday - Friday from 9.00 am until 7.00 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 10.00 am until 6.00 pm, with an on-call service being operated by the management team out with these times, to offer advice in emergencies or someone to talk to if a young person is feeling lonely or isolated.

Staff have the opportunity to manage their own caseload and diary. Staff receive regular supervision and have the support of a duty worker and day manager on each shift.

There is no sleepover or night shift needed.
