A multi-site operation, situated in **Holbeach Hurn** and **Fosdyke **Lincolnshire, we consist of a 6,500 acre farming operation, joint ventures in fresh produce and four factories, employing over 400 people that package fresh, wholehead and prepared vegetables for wholesale and high-street retailers.

**The Role**
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a **Sustainability and Technical Support Officer** to join our team in **Holbeach Hurn.**

You will be responsible for the functional operation of the A H Worth Sustainability Programme across all sites, including oversight of the Farming operations. Supporting the Technical team by completing various systems based tasks.

**Duties**:
**Sustainability**
- Overall administration of the AH Worth Sustainability system
- Maintain knowledge of the changes in legislation and customer requirements to ensure AHW maintains its chosen level of participation.
- Ensure the timely completion of reports and updates.
- To convene meetings with groups and individuals to progress the Sustainability strategy for AHW keeping records and encouraging completions of agreed actions and projects.
- Participate as required in sustainability projects.
- Produce as required presentations or articles promoting our activities to customers and other interested parties.
- Ensure the timely collection of data from relevant sources.
- Complete and use data trending to show progress or areas requiring action or demonstrating progress.
- To represent AHW during appropriate events or meetings

**Additional duties**
- CPMU reports
- Operate customer based systems for the up loading of specifications alerts non conformances or other required functions.
- Laboratory sample management
- Customer KPI reports

**About you**
- Appropriate qualifications in Sustainability Studies to HND level
- BSc / on sustainability Management or similar discipline - desirable
- Demonstrable experience of working in a sustainability role.
- Highly computer literate - Microsoft office suite (excel in particular), web-based portals and specifications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Able to manage time and work.
- Able to manage the demands of numerous tasks.
- Able to work on own initiative and within a team environment.
- Self-motivator
- Diplomatic when faced with issues.
- Highly confidential

- Personable
