**THE ROLE**:
Our vision is to achieve relational capability for all. We are looking for a communications officer to help us turn that vision into reality.

This role has been created to support the communications team in creating and running a social media marketing strategy for OnePlusOne’s digital interventions for couples and families.

As well as promoting our final products to relevant target audiences, you will also play a part in recruiting user groups to help develop and test the products and ensure the user’s voice is heard throughout the process.

**LIST OF ACTIVITIES**:

- Lead on the design and delivery of a social media strategy in line with OnePlusOne’s objectives.
- Maintain OnePlusOne’s existing social media channels, keep track of trends, and seek opportunities for creating a presence on other channels.
- Respond to activity on social media as appropriate, in consultation with the content manager or communications manager.
- Create eye-catching content in a range of formats for use across a variety of channels.
- Work with the wider team to plan social media activity and advertising campaigns.
- Monitor the effectiveness of social media activity and provide impact reports, with support from the UX manager.
- Work with partners and organisations using our resources to collaborate over social media activities.
- Attend and contribute to team meetings to understand organisational and project objectives, and offer insight into social media activity.
- Support the communications manager and content manager to create communication and marketing materials.
- Undertake other duties appropriate for the role as required.

**ABOUT YOU**:
You will have:

- Relevant experience of working in communications/marketing/social media.
- A good understanding of social media platforms, digital technology, and emerging trends.
- An ability to translate complex ideas into digestible relatable messages.
- Strong copywriting skills and creative flare for social media, with the ability to create tailored messages for different audiences.
- Experience of creating and managing social media campaigns.
- Competent in Microsoft packages, including Teams
- Ability to be a public voice for OnePlusOne and represent the organisation’s values
