Key tasks and responsibilities (Job Content):

- To process all repeat medication/administration requests sent in by patients, along with assisting the GPs in prescribing all medicines in line with the various protocols in place and assisting in patient administration requirements.
- Check against prescription requests to identify if medication requested requires an invitation for review for specific conditions e.g. asthma, diabetes, HRT, Blood Test, Family Planning etc
- To liaise with patients and chemists regarding queries and requests, making sure they are dealt with quickly and correctly
- To ensure that patient queries on medication are highlighted to the relevant GP
- Participate in patient audits as required by Practice Doctors/Practice Management, including running reports on the medical information system, send out invite letters, contact patients by telephone, as required for each audit
- Ensure monthly prescription claims are completed

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £10.20 per hour
