**Qualifications - Level 2 Diploma in Playwork or Level 2 in Playwork Principles into Practice (Must have or willing to work towards)**
Description of duties:
- Contribute to a rich, flexible and stimulating play environment where the children can play freely.
- Helping to plan the play, including, activities, preparing the space surrounding the resources, which will fulfill their individual play.
- Build effective and honest relationships with the children and young people, their parents/carers.
- Follow the club’s policies and procedures, including safeguarding, health and safety, behaviour, emergency procedures and confidentiaity, as approved by the registering authority.
- Participation in reviewing and reflecting on the policies and procedures in place.
- Administer first aid as applicable.
- Provide appropriate supervision of al the children and young people throughout the session.
- Ensure that the children and young people are collected by parents / carers, working within the guidelines of the policy.
- Contribute to providing and preparing various kinds of food choices for the children and young people.
- And any appropriate duties for the post of Senior Play Worker.
**Location** - Clwb Ilar, Ysgol Gynradd Llanilar, Llanilar, SY23 4PA
**Hours**:
- 4 and a half hours per week, core hours _3.30 - 5.45pm_, worked on _Wednesdays and Thursdays during term time only. _
