Fencer

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fencer to join our team. As a Fencer, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining fences for residential and commercial properties. This is a hands-on role that requires proficiency in various skills such as painting, welding, carpentry, and more. **Responsibilities**:

- Install and repair fences using various materials such as wood, metal, vinyl, or chain-link
- Measure and mark fence lines to ensure accurate placement
- Dig post holes and set posts securely in the ground
- Construct gates and install hardware
- Paint or stain fences to enhance their appearance and protect against weather conditions
- Repair damaged or broken fences by replacing boards, panels, or sections
- Weld metal components as needed
- Perform masonry work for fence foundations or pillars
- Use hand tools such as saws, drills, hammers, and levels
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Fencer or similar role
- Proficiency in painting, roofing, welding, masonry, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and the use of power tools
- Strong knowledge of different fence materials and installation techniques
- Ability to read blueprints or fence plans is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in outdoor environments
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £27,991.00-£45,326.00 per year
