Head of MFL - September 2023
This progressive secondary school in Walsall is looking for an experienced Head of MFL to join the team from September 2023. As Head of MFL you will be managing a dynamic team of MFL Teachers and leading on the French and Spanish curriculums. A specialism in Spanish would be beneficial as French is already a strength of this school. This is an exciting opportunity for Head of MFL to join a school that provides extensive opportunities for progression and development for staff. The leadership team value their teaching and support staff and ensure that they are provided with the best possible platform to succeed.
Ideally this school is looking for an experienced Head of MFL however are willing to consider an ambitious, dedicated, and experienced MFL Teacher who is looking for the next step in their career. Behaviour can be challenging, however you will receive outstanding support form an experienced pastoral team. As head of MFL you will be responsible for promoting a love for languages and raising teaching standards. This role requires a QTS MFL Teacher and is not suitable for an ECT.
Job Role:

- Leading a successful MFL Department as Head of MFL- Planning, delivering, and tailoring the Spanish and French curriculum- Managing a proactive and committed team of MFL Teachers- Promoting professional development and delivering CPD in the MFL department- Identifying areas of teaching that require additional attention or development- Inspiring a love for languagesIn return you will enjoy:
