Classic Car Mechanic

**About The Role**:
We are recruiting for a Classic Car Mechanic to provide a wide range of services to our own classic vehicles and those of our passionate customers whilst supporting will all aspects of the day - to - day operation of a small, exciting business.

You will be to carry out mechanical repairs and restoration on both modern and classic cars, to the highest standard, whilst demonstrating an exceptional level of care and consideration to customers vehicles.

**Working Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday**

**Key Duties include**:

- Liaise with external customers and other internal departments.
- Work from and contribute towards vehicle restoration plans.
- Producing time and cost reports for repairs and restoration.
- Work on all types of vehicles using techniques and equipment in an efficient manner.
- Carry out on time right first-time repairs.
- Maintain workshop standards.

**About You**:
As an expert Classic car mechanic, you will have previous experience working within a similar role within the motor/classic car restoration industry and able to carry out mechanical repair/restoration of classic and modern vehicles.

Experience in vehicle strip-down and assembly, including general restoration tasks is essential alongside tyre fitting, wheel alignment, bodywork and trim strip and fit knowledge.

You will have the ability to work independently and manage your own workshop projects, and work to set deadlines whilst ensuring jobs are completed in reasonable time with a strong emphasis on quality and attention to detail.

Experience in Mot Testing, MIG welding, electrical fault finding/repair, engine rebuilding, timing belt/chain replacement, and major mechanical repairs/diagnosis would be advantageous.
