Companionship Carer

Companionship Carer needed for a small Kendal based company offering private companionship, in their own home and outings for individuals in Kendal and surrounding areas.

FLEXIBLE HOURS - Looking for someone to do a minimum of one day a week. Can make that 9-5pm, or split the hours over several days if that suits you better. As we are a small private company we can be very flexible.

No previous care experience necessary, however you must have a full UK Drivingand a car with business insurance as you will be travelling to see different people and sometimes taking them on outings.
We have some lovely clients, who need somone reliable with patience, kindness and a positive can-do attitude. It is also a self
- employed position.

Can you enter someone's house with a warm smile, offer to make them a cup of tea, sit and share it with them asking questions and showing interest in them as an individual. Are you happy to take them on a walk, do their physio exercises with them in a motivating way, take them out for afternoon tea, have the organisational skills to be able to plan somewhere nice to go on an outing with them. Can you support them to cook a meal?

Looking for someone who can go the extra mile, someone who an individual will look forward to seeing in a day and want to see again. The ability to build a positive relationship with a person centred approach.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 7- 20 per week

**Salary**: From £16.00 per hour
