**We’re recruiting for a Credit Controller to support work within the finance team and the wider organisation to reflect and achieve the values of Consensus.**
**As someone who prioritises our people and the quality of the services we provide, this role will take responsibility across the Group ensuring that all debts are recovered in a timely manner.**
**Position**:Credit Controller**
**Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 per annum**
**Purpose of the Credit Controller**
Responsibilities include:
- Manage and actively collect in a timely manner all debts
- Liaise with Individuals, Services and Funding authorities as required to facilitate cash collection
- Use Homecare to record and monitor collections
- Provide reports to Finance and Operations Directors regarding debt position as appropriate
- General administration in relation to Credit Control including scanning, filing and archiving
- Reconciliations and account monitoring
- These duties are not exhaustive, and a full Role Profile is available on request._
**Person Specification**
The Credit Controller will have the following attributes:
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Pro-active and versatile
- Comfortable working with multiple finance systems and on-line banking portals
- Enjoys working in a team environment
- Flexible approach and able to take on additional duties as required
- Comfortable managing a varied workload and able to recognise priorities
We’re looking for the following experience:
- Experience of social care funding and debt collection
- Experience working in a finance team, understanding how finance systems work and familiar with supplier payments
- Strong IT skills, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
- Numerate
