Bush Honer

Shorterm are currently working with a world known airline company who require 3 bush honers in their landing gears site in Hayes. This busy fast paced workplace is ramping up recruitment for the new year. In the workshop they completely dismantle landinggears into individual components, they will then be repaired or maintained to be reassembled ready to be sent off to be attached to an aircraft.
You will be required to Fit bushes and dimensionally check tolerances. Also fit and swage bearings and hone bushes in accordance with OHM/CMM/SOPM.
Previous CMM experience required.
Check component and bush log for accuracy.
Install bushes / bearings. Check bushes dimensionally. Using workshop manuals and drawings.
Using imperial calibrated measuring equipment.
Swage bushings with the suitable method (pressure ,roller, stake, material displacing)
Wire lock bolts / bushes.
Use of cryogenics / ovens
Assist with on wing support when trained.
Carry out hardness checks of components
Experience with imperial measuring equipment required.
Location: Hayes

**Salary**: £26,500 - £36,000 + £3220 annual shift bonus.
Shift: Double days (6am - 2pm) and (2pm - 10pm)
