Warehouse Assistant

We currently have an opportunity to join the team at **Minster in Royston as a Warehouse Assistant**. Minster is one of more than 30 exciting Saint-Gobain brands in the UK and are specialist insulation & dry-lining distributor offering comprehensiverange of products online and across our network of 25 branches nationwide.

**Is this role right for me?**

A great Warehouse Assistant at Minster will put safety above all else, work well in a team and be enthusiastic about the work they do. As a quick learner, you'll be flexible to work in different areas, take responsibility for the work you do and always showgood attention to detail. To support our warehouse, you will have:

- Ability to collaborate and work well as part of a team as well as on your own initiative
- Great Communication Skills
- Experience working in a warehousing or stock replenishment role would be beneficial
- Experience operating FLTs would also be advantageous

**What will I be doing in the role?**

Our Warehouse Assistants are very important to the smooth running of the business, you will be responsible for the safe, continuous and efficient running of the warehouse. The role is important to help ensure products are where they need to be on time andyou will be responsible to ensure that the product is ready for the customer to collect. To support our customers effectively you will;
- Interaction with our customers; ensuring the right products are purchased
- Work in a team picking and loading orders
- Manual lifting products for our customers
- Ensure warehouse is kept clean, tidy and safe in-line with H&S procedures
- Using the Forklift daily to move heavier loads

**Hours of work**

This is a Full Time position, working from 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
