The Role

As a Majestic Wine Driver, you get the opportunity to meet and talk to different customers every day. That’s why this role is about much more than just driving: it's about helping others and delivering great service, with a smile. It's hands on and full of variety.

Job Specifics:

- Contract: Fixed-Term Contract (ending 24th December 2023)
- Hours: 12 Hours Per Week

Key Responsibilities

At Majestic Wine, our customers are at the heart of everything we do. As a Driver, you’ll be an ambassador for the store in which you work, supporting the team to deliver a bespoke Christmas shopping experience for every one of our customers.

We're on the lookout for individuals who can:

- Be the face of the store to our delivery customers, ensuring excellent customer service and experience.
- Ensure the van is maintained to a high standard.
- Can prioritise and be efficient with your time so you and the team can spend more time with our customers finding wines they’ll love
- Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
- Involvement in all operational tasks required for the day-to-day operational running a Majestic Wine store - from delivering wine to our customers, merchandising stock deliveries and calling our valued customers to drive sales opportunities.
- Constantly finding ways to be more efficient with the driving time, understanding the cost impact on inefficient delivery runs
- Support the picking and loading of deliveries.

Knowledge & Skills Required
- Be able to demonstrate your ability to deliver exceptional customer experience & service to every single customer
- Self-motivated, able to thrive when working alone and as part of a team
- A can-do attitude with a passion for seeing problems through to solutions
- Adaptable and resilient to meet the ever-changing demands of our business
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Hold a full UK/EU/EEA driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
