Walkthrough Attendant

Peak Wildlife Park is looking for highly motivated applicants, willing to learn, and with a keen interest in animals, their welfare & interacting with customers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Reporting to a keeper throughout the day
- Manning walkthroughs; engaging with public & monitoring animal behaviour
- Ensuring walkthroughs are clean & tidy
- Informing & educating public about species held at the park
- Assisting keepers with basic animal husbandry
- Assisting keepers with talks & experiences
- Supervising public animal feeders
- Working in a safe manner

**Key Skills**:

- Voluntary or paid experience within an animal environment (Desirable)
- Able to work weekends (Essential)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Working towards/or have an animal-based qualification (Desirable)
- A full UK driving license (Desirable)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £8.00-£10.42 per hour

Work Location: In person
