Company Summary

Working for a leading supply chain management and warehousing company who operates with many food and drink household names. They manage 3,500,000 sqft of dedicated storage and handle more than half a million tonnes of goods a year.

Position Expectations

The HR Co-ordinator will support the HR team and be responsible for the administration of tasks covering the whole employee lifecycle. The Co-ordinator will also be required to assist in organising staff events and initiatives.

Key areas of responsibility
- Scheduling interviews for various open positions within the company
- Upload paperwork to the HR Management System and update when necessary
- Administer the company’s pre-employment screening process
- Hold company inductions with new staff members
- Co-ordinate and book agreed training courses for employees
- Minute taking during Employee Relations processes such as disciplinary and grievances
- Management of Long Service Awards
- Organise hospitality for meetings
- Formatting of documents into company approved branding
- Communicating HR news through the company newsfeed on the HRMS
- Responsible for the company equipment log, ordering new equipment as necessary
- Administration of all company property including company cars, mobile phones and credit cards
- Issue of HR forms
- Submission of purchase requisitions for the HR team

Skills, Education and Experience required
- Previous experience of a HR administrator/co-ordinator role is essential
- Ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Word at an intermediate level
- Professional and credible
- Able to deal with sensitive information including personal and payroll data for all employees
- Able to build relationships with employees at all levels and aware of confidential matters
- Honest, sense of humour, diligent, pays attention to detail, self
- starter works with minimum supervision after full training has been given
- Tenacious and determined
