Job Introduction
At Heritage Portfolio We love the fact that one of the most stylish racecourses and sporting venues in the UK is included in our portfolio of luxury venues. Musselburgh Racecourse is a 5-star visitor attraction just six miles from Edinburgh.

With one of the busiest days approaching in the racing calendar we are recruiting casual waiting staff to work on **New Year’s Day 2023**

We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic, and motivated individuals to join our friendly team providing outstanding service across our hospitality and retail bar service.

Hours on 01/01/2023 will be roughly 9am - 5pm, with transport provided from Edinburgh city centre if required with double time paid

**What you’ll do**:

- Serving guests in a friendly, welcoming, and efficient manner while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Assist in set-up and cleardown of the restaurant and function areas, ensuring table settings are correct and polished.
- Welcoming guests, taking orders and serving food and beverages to guests.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and tables.
- Ensuring all working areas are kept clean and tidy
- Care about customer satisfaction and deliver the optimal client service experience.
- Help answer questions and make suggestions regarding food and beverage choices and related items.

**What you bring**:

- Positive attitude, being friendly yet professional.
- 18+ due to the licensing restrictions.
- A team player with an ability to work in a busy environment.
- Good attention to detail and punctuality.
- Experience within a bar setting
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.

The opportunity to work at 27 race days across the racing season including weekend, evening, and midweek races plus events throughout the year. When you join our racing team at Heritage Portfolio you will have the opportunity to work at our other venues across Scotland. In addition, we offer:
