**Location**:Huddersfield

**Salary**: £10.42 - £11.88 once trained

XCL Group are currently recruiting for our client based in Huddersfield, who are looking for a Stores & despatch operative.

**The main duties include**:

- Maintain stores area in an efficient & organised manner
- Reporting maintenance issues
- Packing & despatching
- Control on time deliveries & quality of goods

**Key Tasks include**:

- Investigate & report stock problems
- Make sure paperwork is accurate on purchase orders & delivery notes
- Adhere to correct handling procedures for specialist parts
- Organise loading & unloading of van for deliveries
- Make sure assembly of kits in the cutting area are done correctly
- Manage status of paperwork & stock issue procedures
- Accurate maintenance of stock figures
- Maintain correct stock figures - making any adjustments required for any shortages
- Support on annual stocktake
- Restocking of parts returned from workshop, accurately
- Make sure shipments are packaged correctly

- Knowledge of manufacturing processes would be desirable but not essential

**Hours**:
5 day working week (38 hours)

Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.26pm (20 minute lunch break)

**Job Type**: Temp to perm

**Salary**: £10.42-£11.88 per hour

**Experience**:

- Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
