**Design Technology (DT) Cover Supervisor Needed**

Protocol Education are recruiting for a **confident, proactive, and enthusiastic DT Cover Supervisor for a school in Stockton-on-Tees.** We are looking for an educator specialising in art/têxtiles/woodwork/food technology, etc. As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise the whole class during the short-term absence of the teacher. The focus will be to keep students on task, maintain good behaviour and support students who need help.

**Position**: Part time, Cover Supervisor.

**Location**: Stockton-on-Tees

**Pay**: £85-£100 a day

**Start Date**: Immediate

**Application closing date**: 01/03/24

**_ Key Responsibilities as a DT Cover Supervisor:_**
- Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Confidently deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour and address any challenges that may arise.
- Complete administrative tasks related to the day’s activities.

**_ Requirements:_**
- Minimum of a high school diploma; a degree in Education or degree is preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Local to the Teesside area, as this role will take place face-to-face.
- Driver (preferred)
- Experience as a Cover Supervisor is not necessary but is preferred.
- Ability to adapt and manage various classroom environments.
- An up-to-date Safeguarding certificate.
- References that cover a 2-year working period.
