**Job description**

An elderly couple living at home in Kelso are looking for a personal assistant to assist them at

weekends.

**Main tasks and responsibilities**

Morning (30 minutes ideally at 9:30am) time shared between both clients
- Administer medication from a locked box (both clients)
- Prepare and serve breakfast (both clients)
- Assist with personal care if this is requested (both clients)

Lunch (1 hour 15 minutes ideally at 12pm) time shared between both clients
- Assist to make the couple some lunch. Please assist the lady to make a suitable lunch that

she would be attracted to eat to prevent further dehydration and malnutrition. Please add

cream etc to her food to help increase calories.
- Ensure worktops and fridge are clean and spoiled food is thrown out.
- Please empty buckets if required.
- Please make a sandwich for the lady for later and leave in fridge.

Tea (30 minutes ideally at 17:30pm) time shared between both clients)
- Administer medication from locked box (both clients)
- Please serve the lady her sandwich from fridge with hot drink. Please encourage snacks.
- Please assist to make the gentleman his main meal (Wiltshire and frozen meals in freezer)

please also give him a hot drink.

- £10.50 per hour
- 5.6 weeks annual leave calculated on a pro rata basis
