Senior Cook

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Cook to join our team. As a Senior Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant kitchen. Your culinary expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Planning menus, working with the budgets provided, and ordering supplies. Maintaining the stock control.
- Preparation of the home cooked meals, baking of cakes and desserts and prepare packed lunches.
- Supervise a small team Kitchen Assistants.
- Supporting the team to deliver excellent customer service to our visiting groups, face to face serving of meals.
- Assist with large scale events.
- Clean kitchen areas and equipment to the required standards.
- Ensure the observance of Health and Safety requirements.

**Requirements**:

- A valid DBS
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Catering
- First Aid Certificate
- Previous experience within preparation or catering or kitchen management.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract

Pay: £13.69 per hour
