Trailer Fitter

We are currently recruiting for the position of Trailer Fitter to join our team in John Raymond Transport in Bridgend, UK. This position reports to the Maintenance Service Manager.

**Responsibilities**
- Diagnosis and repair of trailers
- Carry out weekly inspections of vehicles
- Carry out preventative planned maintenance/repairs

**Required Skills**:

- Good understanding of MOT standards and DVSA roadworthiness standards
- Understanding of ABS and EBS systems
- Working in a team environment with mínimal supervision
- Knowledge of current legislation

**Experience & Education**
- Apprentice trained and qualified to City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in heavy vehicle mechanics, maintenance and repair or equivalent is advantageous
