An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly team here as a **Yard Assistant in Jewson Nottingham Colwick**. We will provide you with all the training needed for this position, so what you lack in experience you need to make up for in enthusiasm, reliability and a can do attitude. This opportunity offers a goodlevel of variety, as you will have a balanced mix, working on the sales counter, assisting throughout the warehouse and operating an FLT in the Yard.

**What will I be doing in this role?**

The Yard Assistant role is a key position within this branch, from dealing with customer enquiries, working on the trade counter, managing the stock levels and ordering essential items, unloading deliveries right through to stacking shelves.

Key day to day duties include:

- Checking customer details on out system
- Printing delivery notes / checking orders
- Serving customers
- Stock replenishment
- General Yard duties

**Hours of Work**

Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 5:00pm plus every other Saturday 8:00am to 12:00pm

**What skills are we looking for?**

- Previous outdoor working experience, ideally in a Builders' Merchants
- FLT experience would be beneficial to the role
